“You're going to miss all of this for crunches?" I asked a friend who said they weren't going to a get-together because they were going to CrossFit. He responded yes with a big smile. What he knew and I didn't was it was more than crunches, it was ReUnited CrossFit.

I have always been active and enjoyed playing sports and running. In 2019, a friend and I decided to try CrossFit, and we went to “Ladies Night.” Immediately, I learned what the friend knew. ReUnited CrossFit was more than working out. It was a family. A family that challenges you to be the best you can be. A family that encourages you when you feel defeated (not just in the gym but in life). ReUnited was a life changer for me. Yes, there was a physical change (weight loss and gaining strength), but largely in that it supported me in changing my mental health and outlook on life. As a result, I have gone from dreading each day to looking ahead excitedly to be alive.

So what is it about ReUnited CrossFit? It's a family who supports one another in and out of the gym. Thank you, Coaches, family, and friends for pushing me in and during the journey and not just for an "after".
